Alyssa Wilson

Alyssa is a graduate of the University of Lynchburg in Virginia, pursuing a degree in journalism. She develops her skills through her Bonner Leader Program internship with SHARE Greater Lynchburg, magnifying the stories and voices of Greater Lynchburg’s nonprofit community. Alyssa is passionate about serving her community, a quality instilled by her mother, a minister of the Disciples of Christ, and a childhood full of learning what it looks like to serve the community that gives to us. While raised Christian, Alyssa now mindfully explores interfaith traditions and practices as she develops her own spirituality. Alyssa loves getting her hands dirty in a garden and enjoys crochet, cooking, yoga and reading in her free time.
